the game changer

how to take a challenge and crush it 101. just trying to reclaim my tiny Uke mojo i started 4 years ago.
i cannot wait to see my tiniest creations come to fruition .

from top to bottom :
the new keychain size micro uke,  Nano uke and the tiwi standard fat pocket uke.
i took the tiny uke design and kick it up a notch. perfect little miniature shape with a true slim waist. a proper Luke shape done right.

below are the messy bit during construction...

radiused top and back!
i mean who does this in such a microscopic scale?!!  the devil is in the detail.

new addition to the family

i had to do this to alleviate the age old problem of being behind schedule due to glue-up wait.
i finished a set of soundbox mould today to help make my one-man production just a tad faster.
i'm loving the shape i must say lol. i like em' tight waist,  curvy and thick. it took me a couple of hours drawing the actual shape last night .

my main Concert shape and the newly revised Taropatch shape on the right

onto the spindle sander next for fine tuning the shape and smooth out the inner face .
