Bridge placement and fret slotting

..the hard way. im only posting this because ive been asked a gazillionth times . this way of doing things took me a while to perfect. like anything else in woodworking, it takes practice.

Jap saws are amazing tools. cant live without one. the difference between an inexpensive brand and a genuine Kamikaze Godzilla japanese saws is quite noticeable both on the ease of use and the results.
due to a recent mishap with the belt sander while thicknessing a bone blank down to 2mm, i came up with a one-piece mini bridge design with the compensation carved-in ( i know, completely unoriginal but it works). when youre working on such a miroscopic scale, every little bit helps.i love my fingers too much.
