Stacked El Chapo phase 1

its been a busy week outside building ukes. Not to mention the grey rainy weather we’ve been experiencing this past few weeks. I love it. Not looking forward to the dry summer heat.   Here I’ve laminated some neck parts and top block ready for the sander. this project is inspired by Jon Mangum's Home Depot Fiddle build he did back in 2017. i had to try it for my el chapo

Archtop Bass Blueprint

been back in the draft board again. its a never ending process. im  always revising. Theres been a  flood of ideas flowing all of the time since i took a break from building my mini ukes 2 months ago. I've been on a archtop binge lately .  i am so sick and tired of not being able to have time and a day to show my stuff on a local Uke fest every year. you see, I dont think my ukes are up to par yet.  I've been on this grind for almost a decade now and its long overdue. i need to muster up energy to put myself and my art out there for public's consumption. regardless. i am  still searching for my identity and a comfortable spot in this field .i don't want to be known as a one-trick pony

Cutaway tenor 1 2019

I basically re-sized / enlarged my 2019 nano shape and made a minor tweaking of the curve on the waist section.  To make it tighter and conform to my liking . So far so good.  I’m still debating wether to use this particular version solely for archtops purposes or for the flattops as well.
