Hi John' My name is Bruce, I live at Sandstone Point near Bribie Island , Queensland Australia. I am a mad ukulele player with 6 ukuleles . We are currently making some Fibreglass Bass Ukuleles , lIke the Kala UBASS, the 2 we are making are the size of a Baritone / cutaway. Mine will have a Black High Piano Gloss body with a Blackhearted Sassafras Soundboard from Tim at Australian Toneboards. Could you help us with the name of suppliers of soundboards. We have moved away from the Sika and Spruce as we find previous ukes did not retain the white colour and yellowed with age. I have a Leho Splated Maple TB with a spruce top but it has'nt yellowed.
