My Original concept of the Nano uke

Blonde Koa goodness and micro Violin peg tuners.

one thing i notice is the considerable difference in weight.  barely weighs 17 ounce. definitely under a pound. I'm a bit in the fence here. this plastic tuners I've been using on this tiny ukes for years is starting to get old. not to mention it takes a whole month for the shipment to arrive state sides. definitely leaning towards the island-y vintage vibe of a wooden peg tuner on these. only time will tell.

the usual specifications breakdown:

blonde koa sides and top
laminated Koa and mahogany strip back
Katalox fingerboard with a 7.125" nano scale
mahogany neck
mahogany bridge with a flame maple saddle
bone nut
 figured koa headplate
no finish, just a shellac sealer coat
